Alan Javorcky

Alan Raymond Javorcky, age 81, Hendersonville passed away on Friday. December 31, 2020 in Gallatin, TN. Alan was born in Cleveland, OH and was the son of the late Raymond and Helen McSpadden Javorcky.
Alan is survived by Ronald F. Javorcky (brother), Cynthia G. Javorcky (daughter), Laura K. Brooks (daughter), Rachel L. Garrett (daughter), Brian M. Brooks (grandson), Sarah E. Brooks (granddaughter), Emma C. Garrett (granddaughter), Tracy Garrett (son-in-law). Mr. Javorcky was preceded in death by Rayomnd F. Javorcky (father), Helen McSpadden Javorcky (mother), Joanne Kluck Javorcky (wife). Stanley C. Brooks, Jr (son-in-law).
Growing up in Cleveland Alan attended Lakewood High School and graduated in 1957. On May 27,1960 Alan married his high school sweetheart Joanne Kluck and was married 53 years when she passed away. Mr. Javorcky had a great love for music he attended Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music in Berea, Ohio. Alan can best be described as a musician with a day job in the fastener industry. He started jobbing in high school playing with different bands over the years. Alan was a member of the Buddy Morrow Orchestra from 1959-1960 and lead trombonist for the Hermit Club Band from 1962-1983. Mr. Javorcky also was lead trombonist for the Harry Hershey band which was the house band of WBBG big bad radio from 1980-1984. From 1984-2001 Alan was lead trombonist for the Beau Tharp band and the Rory Partin band from 2001-2020.
Mr. Javorcky was also choir director of Parkwood united Church of Christ from 1968-1981. He was a member of the stadium band for the Cleveland Browns from 1976-1980.

In 1960 Alan started working for Standard Oil up until 1963 when he started a new career with National Screw which he worked with for 10 years 1963-1973. Mr. Javorcky worked also with Lake Erie Screw from 1973-1999 while moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 1984. Alan continued working for Lake Erie Screw and did independent sales rep work for several other fastener companies until 1999. He had a great love for history, he was an avid Cleveland Indians fan, and was quick witted.
