Donald Brooks Jackson, age 79, of Hendersonville, TN passed on Monday, August 30, 2021 in Nashville, TN. Mr. Jackson was born in Mobile, AL on February 21, 1942 and was the son of the Late Eugene Randolph and Pauline Carlock Jackson. He was preceded in death by his brother Steve Jackson and survived by Brother Randy Jackson and Sisters Betsy Compton and Susie Westbrook.
Mr. Jackson is survived by Carole Lanham Jackson his wife of 57 years, Children- Donald Jackson, Eric Jackson (Amy), Suzanne Jackson, David Jackson (Alana). Grandchildren- Riley Bullen, Mason Bullen, Annabell Allen (Zach), Brooks Jackson, Isabell Jackson, Joshua Jackson.
Service times- Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the The Hendersonville Church of God, 724 East Main Street, Hendersonville, TN. Receiving 4:30-5:30. Service at 6pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Don Jackson Grace Notes Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Hendersonville Church of God.

1978-2003 Music Director, performer, arranger conductor for Illiad Nashville recording studio and music production producing 3 Gold Albums.

2010 Tennessee Tech Outstanding Alumni
Conducted 55 Major Orchestral Albums including 27 for the London Symphony, 23 for the London Philharmonic and 5 with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of which 11 albums went Platinum.
Conducted 7 of the only 14 classical music albums to sell more than 1 million copies
Performed and/or arranged with a variety of musicians and shows including Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, Johnny Cash, Placido Domingo, The Beach Boys, Tony Bennett, Vienna Boys Choir, Boston Pops Orchestra, Nevada Symphony, Nashville Now, Ralph Emery Show, Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, Brenda Lee, Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison, Lori Morgan, Floyd Cramer, Oak Ridge Boys, Chet Atkins, Chubby Checker, Fats Domino, B.B. King, Jimmy Ruffin, Four Tops, Temptations, Mary Wilson, Martha Reeves, and Al Hirt.
